Leading Digital Health research team joins Strathclyde:

March 2017:

One of the UK’s leading Digital Health research groups has joined the University of Strathclyde to accelerate the development and implementation of new technologies – in a new partnership helping to transform the way healthcare is delivered.

Known for her research in eHealth, patient experience and supportive care, Professor Roma Maguire, Professor of eHealth at the University of Surrey, is joining the Computer and Information Sciences Department at the University’s city centre campus in Glasgow. Two of Professor Maguire’s colleagues – Dr Lisa McCann and Dr Grigorios Kotronoulas – also join her, with an additional four researchers.

The University of Surrey team join the existing Strathclyde Digital Health research group, led by Dr Marilyn Lennon and Dr Matt-Mouley Bouamrane, to create one of the UK’s largest Digital Health research groups. Professor Maguire will remain as a visiting Professor at the University of Surrey.
